Default 1977 jeep cherokee

I have the option to buy a full size 77 Cherokee model 16, the guy says it was running a year ago when he parked it. It has the 401 in it auto quadretec also the only rust is the rear end where the po used to take boats into the lake. Wants 700 for it. Good deal?

Not yet, it's a older man that doesn't know how to send pics on the Internet, since he lives two hours away he is having them mailed to me.

One thing I'm going to point out is that finding parts for them is a PITA. I picked up a '79 Cherokee Sport and the PO included a boat load of spare parts he's managed to find, just in case. Too bad none of them are what I need to fix it... You might want to check out ifsja.org

Edit: Just noticed you're in Utah, so maybe you'll have an easier time finding parts than I have.

I have found some web sites with parts and a couple of other part jeeps around here. So we will see I have been thinking about it and just hope it won't be that bad
