Exclamation 150 miles per fill up?

I know there are a lot of forums like this, and i have researched improving mpg, but i still need more info. I just got this Jeep not too long ago and have only been driving it, and i have been getting like 150 miles per fill up! All info is helpful.

PS: I got 31s with 2in BB

tune up + lay off the gas. As long as I keep it under 2000rpm I get 300 to the tank all day long in my stock 2000 XJ.

x2!! No reason to even go over 2500 rpms , if so, you shuldnt have a jeep.. I get 175 miles per half tank!... Check plugs, wires, air filter, oil/filter.. Fuel pump and fuel filter!! Even what gas station you goto has an effect.. Cheapest gas isnt always the best deal thats for sure!!!

Mine has 200K miles roughly 7" of lift and 35" tires and around town including 4-5 HRS of wheeling i still get 100-150 miles out of half a tank

Lol my speedo spins five fast and I only get 245 per tank. But I also don't care about fuel economy and I drive it like I stole it. So I get around 220 actual per tank and 4.5 lift 32's 4.56 gears heavy on the skinny. If I want gas milage I would've bought a Honda.

Right.. But I meant as going to these gas stations that always try to go 10-15 cents under everyone else.. Around my town, these gas statons have been tested and reported water and other things in their gas, and reports of cars needing new motors and such bc they alwasy get gas there!! I only goto Wawa's gas stations here on the east coast, bc I know there gas/pumps are routinely checked and tested!

i forgot to add, his does have a hard start. IT usually takes 3 or more seconds than a regular jeep.
