14.50"s on 8" Wheel..
I been thinkin on ordering me some Black Rock 952 Street Locks. Gonna be puttin em on my Boggers which are of course 35x14.50"s. If i do, im gonna get 15x8's with 3 3/4" backspacing. Anyone here running 14.50"s on an 8" wheel? Yea i relize interco recommends a 10" wheel, I give that a big BLAH!.. Only diffrence to the tire having an 8" wheel on it is, theres gonna be is less chance of breaking a bead down when i run 8 and 10 psi in them, oh and too it'll stand a hair taller. Also, i got a concern, with this wide of a tire, running a 8" wheel with 3 3/4" back spacing, recon the tire will rub the back inner fenders when flexed out?.. Im gonna be running atleast 6 1/2" to 7"s of lift and gonna bump stop it where the tire comes only a **** hair from rubbing the quarter lip..

get the 10's. i can just about guarantee 8's (with 3.75" backspacing) will rub the lca's and inner fender. and 10's probably will too (just not as bad)
and carry several spare front axle parts
that is a wide tire and you will have a hella wide stance, and wreak havoc on a dana30

Get the 10's. I ran both and the 8's just dont cut it. Also with those boggers you can run quite a bit less than 8-10 psi. I dropped mine to 5 and never blew a bead

What kinda diffrence did you see with em on a 8" Wheel? Also what 10" wheel did you run? I figured they could be dropped on down a few more pounds lol.

Boggers are a bias ply tire. If you put them 8" wheels you will wear the center out of them. Also they will be squirrelly on the pavement. Ten inch rims are a minimum.

They wear the centers down on 8's but even with 10's my road pressure was 20-22 lbs and surprisingly, they rode pretty good. I had the crager sim-locks btw. Pretty nice wheels but nothin beats true beadlocks
