Hi people

Hope someone can shed some light on this matter. I have just purchased a 03 jeep cherokee 3.7 petrol. The car has just had a brand new radiator, spark plugs, coil pack and exhaust unit fitted. The car has started but is still chugging and blowing smoke. A compression test shows that there is some power lacking but there are no engine management lights on, my mechanic thinks it could be a cracked or bent valve however i have been reading about this ASD issue, can anyone shed any light???

My friend's Jeep had a misfiring issue. Check to make sure there are no cracks in the head. He replaced the head and the misfire was gone.
