Hey, so long story short I need a new motor. Does anyone know who makes a remanufactured engine for a 00-01 cherokee that has a different or upgraded head on it?
Jasper and powertrain products both said that their's have an 0331 head (same as from the factory) so I don't want them.

Anyone? I talked to titan and theirs is an aftermarket head, but there are too many bad reviews for me to buy their product.

 

Run the jasper and keep an eye on it. Later on you can always swap heads...

 

If you just need a new head, I know clearwater makes some quality stuff.

 

0331 TUPY version is the good one brought out in 2002 that doesn't have the cracking problem. Check with them first.
