Default ZJ bumper fab

Here is where i am now, I want to do a "tube style" bumper. I have about 12 feet of 2" galv pipe.

Any pointers? Stuff to do/look out for?

Fyi, If your not familiar with Welding with galvanized pipe please look it up. It can be hazardous to your respiratory system

you need to grind all galv away from weld area... do not mess around, please read up first... here are a few things for you

at least grade 8 bolts/nuts... if making a long weld do it in steps so that heat doesn't warp your work.

IDK, i kinda want to do a stinger and some sort of radiator guard.

but im out of pipe so ill ride it like this for now until i find some more ha.

better add some support for those side bars that wrap around or theyll be history the first thing that hits them

hope you werent breathing when you were welding that galvanized pipe. thats toxic

its mounted, but still being built kinda as-i-go ha.

its actually 2/3" i believe.
