XJ shackle bushing and outer sleave??
Looking for a source for XJ rear shackle bushings WITH the outer sleeve, so I can weld up my rear shackles.
None of the aftermarket shackles will work for me, so I need to make my own up.
2nd question, this will be a DD, so what is the softest aftermarket bushing material? worried about road noise with a more "solid" bushing.

Both Prothane and daystar offer sleeve less bushings as well as grease able hardware.
What shackles are you looking for? Need a specific length? I had the same issue and ended up using Chevy 1500 shackles. Chevy uses inverted shackles, so lowing shackles will actually provide lift on a jeep. Stock 96 1500 shackles are 1" longer than stock jeep shackles. Stock 3" hole to hole,chevy are 4.12 hole to hole (approx)

I fabbed up custom shackle boxes after cutting out the old ones.
My new shackle boxes come down about 3/4" more than the original,
I do not want to add anymore lift than I have to in order to clear the shackle box.
All the after market shackles "flare out", so they would hit the shackle box.
