I picked up these wrangler mirrors last summer and never got around to cleaning them up a little bit. Then mock them up and bolt them on... Got some time and finally decided to get em mounted.

i made some "factory mirror deletes" to cover up the holes from the factory mirrors

mounted them to the fenders that way when i pull my doors off and have some fun i'm still legal with having my side mirrors

both of them mounted up
the reason why i wanted to mount them is because i like not having an excuse for a cop to pull me over. Especially for something as stupid as lack of side mirrors. Also because when i fold them up, they have a better clearance than the factory mirrors, and the mirrors themselves have a lot more visual "mirror".

lol thx, yea people comment on them a lot! They are pretty damn good though. I have a build thread for that red jeep, and those lights are in there along with the custom light bar i made for it, go give it a looksie. I have some shots from it at night as well

there's not really much to a write up for them... just 3 holes to mount them, i mounted them without any one helping me. In hindsight i prolly would have mounted them a few inches lower... but that's about it, because where i have them mounted, i cannot see the passenger side mirror... so as i tell my friends "passengers" they have their own mirror LoL

just a side photo

pic of the mirror folded up
the same went for the factory mirror "delete's". I just made a cut-out blank and drilled 2 holes to bolt through the factory mirror holes.... Simple enough

Just a thought. Will the mirrors fold forward? If you can angle the support that pivots on the mounting bracket forward you could set the mirror so you could see it through the windshield. That is what we did with the mirrors on our HMMWVs in Iraq, worked good.

i'm not all that concerned with checking my passenger side with a mirror when driving down the road... it doesn't require that much head movement to see to the back side of the vehicle.. unlike the driver side which requires you to turn your head almost 160 degrees. So after i had mounted the passenger mirror and realized "oops.. can't really see it". That's when it became the dedicated passenger mirror lol
