WJ Roof Basket Build
Hi, i recently build a roof basket to relocate the spare Tyre as i installed a LPG system and put the toroidal tank where the spare was, but i think i made a mistake with the height , i measure the Tyre width and now i think its way too tall, i have seen lots of baskets and they are half the tall the one i built , still dont know if it can cause too much fuel consumption as i have not traveled far yet, to calculate the drain, do you think i should lower it or can i leave it that way??

Looks good man. As far as being too tall, drive and find out. Thats the only true way to tell. By my guess, i would say yes, you will see a pretty dramatic drop, but, depends how fast you drive. Aerodynamics suck.

I would say that its too tall. The height of the roof rack will cause a lower MPG. Best bet is to cut the height down by half.

Had to lower it anyway cause was way too tall , even though it was great for the coolers but it looked weird..
