sooooo ive been wanting to find a police center console im buying sirens i have strobes i wanna have a switch box and little things and cup holders i cand find em anywhere so imma build one has anyone ever done this

check out Galls.com thats where my PD buys some consoles. not sure if they have anything specific for Jeeps but im sure you could find something.

When I was a cop we used XJ's... No special consoles or anything for them. Radios and our controls for the lights and sirens all mounted to the passenger side of the stock console. Gall's has good equipment.

 

heres what im doin since i cant find anything
and im a volunteer firemen for my local fire dept in NY

im making a custom switch box inside my console no toggle switchs rocker switchs only
im gonna build a wallso nothing can get screwed up anything hitting the wires the imm build a bracket so i can throw my Cb in and the last space is only 2 inchs wide still trying to figure out what i can put there

 

Why not mount your CB up here and save some room down in your console? Just another option.

 

yea i could do that 2 thing is i dont use my center console so i have no use for it

 

Sorry thought you meant overhead console here is my center console it is finished i will take some of those tomorrow and show you

 

i like that alot have u painted yet tho the wood looks lost in ur jeep lol
