Sold my last few sets of tube doors to locals. so it was time to change it up a bit and throw together some new doors for her.

Looks nice except the thin strip used at the hinge. Curious why you went so small there.

 

its 3/16 cold plate..realy stough stuff, and they are not finished, have to build the pass side door and add gussets to it. but i can open them as-is and sit on them with no deflection. they just look small compared to the 1 1/2 tube.

 

Guess it's a perception thing. Where did you get the latches?

 

I had these around from another project..but you can find them anywhere.look up bearclaw latches. Prices vary greatly depending on Mfg.

 

Looking good so far. Can't wait to see it completed.

These doors are for my 88 4 door.so they fit a 87~96. I haven't had access to a 97up to test fit and match the latches to yet. But would like to find on and get matching latches for them as we'll.
