Time for some interior fab.
Alright, did a tune up today, and seafoamed so im runnin like a champ. (1993 cherokee sport). So now its time to play with the inside, ok the seats are really... oily and stained. I thought about renting a rug doctor, but does anyone have any other suggestions? ok now to the real fabrication, the headliner is gone, and i want to customize it with a rebel flag. Yes i have one big enough 5'x8' i need some pointers for removing it, the light fixture thingy is all i need to get around. What do i need to prep it? ive heard of using soap and a small brush? idk if thats acurate though. And lastly how would i go about sticking the flag there? My buddy said to use that 3M adhesive spray, but do i need something to go in between the liner and the fiberglass board? thanks fo all the help

Ok, well i just went with it and did the headliner camo, i beileve someone else has done this also... o well. It cost me about 90 with everything, two bottles of headliner and carpet spray adhesive from auto advance, then 8ft of mossy oak camo fabric, I'm not sure what that padding is called but got 8ft of that also. Took me about an hour and a half, let me know what you think.

Door panels
90 Bucks for the headliner. I used the headliner specific fabric and it only cost around 50. Although it isnt camo . Anyway how hard do you think it would be to make new door panels. Mine are supposed to be tan but are now a more gray color. I have taken them off before and they seem to be just cardboard and fabric with a metal thing at the top with the plastic clips. I also have some new speaker grills that came with the speakers I bought but decided not to use them with the panels I have because of the holes that are already in it.

Ya the ninety included the adhesive and the special headliner padding and the camo. An as far as door panels i have no idea.

You asked about seat cleaning. Here we just pull the seats out of the tow trucks and use a power washer on them. do the same on my XJs. works great. it'll clean out all the soda and adult beverages that have soaked into the seat and almost all grease and dirty stains. On a warm sunny day takes about 4 hours to dry.

i agree. not just difficult but not having any type of fabric to insulate your roof would generate alot of heat since the sun hits mostly your roof all day long. also metal gets really cold in the winter which would brobably make your vehicle colder in the winter. other than that i think it would look alright.
