Question tampor proof torxs?

dose anybody have a set of tampor proof torx i can have,, or know how to make some out of regular torx... thx for the help

The only difference I am aware of between normal and the tamper "proof" ones are the little indent in the middle, couldnt you just take a normal one a drill a small dimple in it?

Whats it for anyways, if you dont mind me askin lol

i dont mind u asking at all i need to get a 4.0l throttle body and swap my sensors over from my 2.5 l to tht one and they are tampor resistant torx... i need a 96 throttle body off a 4.0l if u have a freeby sitting around im not trying to moouch i just dont have the money and dont have paypals and **** like tht..

or you can knock out or drill out the little nub/post in the tamper proof bolt?

btw, the bits are available at your local part source.

mine came in my socket set.

if u have a drill press u can make one but just go to a store and buy a set. there cheap enough

save yourself the time and money. just goto auto zone. they have the kit for tamper proof bits, or you can get the allen set. it has all of them, and they fold up.

i myself have this set. i need it when i work in prisons and banks.

ill look around see wht i have and wht i dont but i dont think i have any... and i was just thinking about drilling a lil hole in the top of one of my bits... might have to raid dads craftsman tool box and see wht hes got too..LOL

ill see wht i can find here in the million of tool boxes and wont be the first bit tht iv ever drilled.... if there so strong y the hell atre they always stripping all the time and i buy dewalt **** and they still strip.. ill use my cheap black and deacker **** tht i got for xmas to drill into..

umm. first problem is you use dewalt....

and fyi, dewalt and black and decker are the same thing. black and decker has owned dewalt for about 18 years now

well for ur info dewalt has lasted my dads company SWC for as long as he has been in bisseniss..and we have tryed all the other brands ant they die ithin amonth... have have my drill since i was 8 still use it too. my mom got my dad the big set of the 18 volt XRP set and they out porform all the others and they also last longer.... he uses them non stop somedays and they still perform like new.. it out performs the 24 volt bosce with ease mabey B&d and dewalt are the same but one it house hold cheap and the other is proffesional grade..

hmmm. you must not really use your tools. since dewalt sold out to japan/chinese production, they have sucked. that would be why your old drill is still working. same is the case for all old tools. Once they started using the ****ty imported clutches in them, they sucked. I have gone through 3 dewalts. they make better paper weights then they do tools.
