You would probably be better off with something that went into the hitch.
Search for other swing down carriers, there are several on the fab forum.
The bumper sticks out over the hitch too far, to straddle it, and do a design similar to mine.
Do you still need to use the hitch.
I have my old custom rear bumper with swing out carrier.
Maybe we can do a deal.

why not design it as a receiver "extender" Slides into an existing 2" receiver, bulges out into it's own 2" receiver, use that as the mount and swing point. Then it fits all bumpers etc.

Wish i was in my house/shop so I could setup my equipment already instead of paying for it to be in storage I'd mock something up real quick.

Yeah I use my hitch for hauling my little dirt bike around. Got any pics of your old custom bumper?
