I was going to mount some of the fog lights from Harbor freight on the frt bumper. I am going with 4 2 amber for snow/fog driving and 2 regualar fog (clear)
Here is my question and meed opinions.
I was thinking of getting a piece of angle iron and mounting it to the stock bumper and then mounting the lights to it, so this way there is a little room behind the lights to allow air to the radiator and also give it some what of a "custom look"
I was thinking of painting the angle iron with undercoating and then drilling a hole in the bumper behind the angle iron to run the wires so you dont see them.
So i guess what I am getting at is do you think this will look ok or witll it look getto?
Thanks
Rich

I guess I am trying to visualize how you would have the angle iron mounted to the bumper.
Would you have it facing with the back of the "L" facing forward?
Factory fog lamps are mounted at the outer corners of the grill, directly on the bumper, just for comparison.

I think that would be ok, get some 2" angle and go for it, and cut the ends at a 45* or more so you dont have a 90* to catch your leg on when getting under the hood... oh and make sure you use a grommet for the wire hole in bumper...
