Default 20mm ammo box trunk storage

i decided to take my spare tire out of my trunk and i didnt like the little 2 whole tab sticking out, me and my brother were going to cut it but before we did we happened to go to a military surplus store and we picked up a set of 20mm army surplus ammo boxes, a little cut and a lock and they fit perfectly, mine holds jumper cables rope and a first aid kit while my brothers holds a compressor rope and more

Dang lol. Ya we walked into a pawn shop one day and saw em in there ones red ones green and was like I gotta get these I'll never find them again. Paid 25 for both the red looks new on inside the green has some grease grime and rust but I got all grease out and just a few small spots rust but there great, I don't know how I'll fit it all cause I got a full size spare ( 33 12.50 ) the ammo can a tool box and wanting to put the to gas cans . Hmmmm idk lol

My rear storage is a 81mm mortar box strapped down to the tiedowns. its huge and fully loaded with tools, spare parts and fluids weighs around 100lbs. Ultimate trail box.

After seeing this thread, I would like to find one of those (cheap lol) for my Jeep.. would be nice to have..

My buddy gave me one to carry my recovery gear (straps, rain coat, clevis/d-rings, trailer hitchs/pins, etc), but I don't have it held down.

Have also thought if anything happens to the Jeep and she needs a repaint, army green or camo may be in order.. lol
