Default Started of my bumper build today

Started a bumper from things i had laying around. Mounting plates out of 1/4 inch and some 1/8 inch or some odd square tubing got me started. Using a flux welder for the thin stuff but looks like im going to need somthing stronger to get into that 1/4 inch stuff. Looks like ill be breingin it to the shop. Figuired id post it didnt cost me much. Prob cost around 80 bucks for materials bought but i had this stuff. Ill be adding to it and posting more pictures.

looks good, are you going to drill holes for D-rings in that bad boy? If so that should take quite a beating.... and how far back do the brackets extend back along side the frame rails into your wheel wells?

Yea going to drill some d-ring holes and they extend enough to go to the first bolt up top that goes through to the steering box. I had to get a longer bolt to fit that. there are 4 half inch bolts on each side i added plus the stock one that lands in the middle of all four. I live in south toms river. Its rite by seaside. Got a few decent trails by my house nothin great though.

Looks beefy man, and those brackets look more like 3/8th or even 1/2 inch plate to me
