Default Skid plates

Hey I'm trying to fabricate as much for my Heep as possible. This allows my father and me time together. He can't do as much as he used to, but still more than most! Plus doing it yourself means alot more to me than just buying what everyone else has. This is why I'm looking for any kind of Schematics and or measurements that anyone might have for amy kind of skid plates, or under body armor. Thanks alot!!!

I dont have any measurements of the top of my head but there are very easy and useful places to put skid plates and armor. i.e. a transfercase skid plate, armoring your axle is another very useful and easy thing to install if you can weld fairly well. temper-mental racing sells an extremely cheap gusset kit to strengthin all the heavy stress points on a cherokee(i.e. steering, shocks, swaybar, track bar) and also sell weld on frame stiffiners.
I had planned on buying this gusset kit but i dont have a shop anymore to install anymore fun stuff on my cherokee.

hope this helps!

Skid plates are kind of an individual thing. It all depends on how much you want to protect, budget and tools. You might start with the transfer case, that is the easiest one to come up with. If you don't have one already, there is a factory gas tank skid plate you can pick up for cheap from a JY. Check the catalogues for ideas on skid plates. There are several different designs for each.
