Fantastic work. I highly doubt my rear quarters turn out that nice with my stretch and cut. Love the set up, mine will be similar but I have hoops.

Thanks!

some more small stuff knocked out...

Truss has been burned in, along with traction bar plates, and leaf locating tabs. Also threw some paint on the towers, and burned on some limiting strap tabs.

(Stupid shaky hands :banghead

Do the locating tabs help do anything other than prevent side to side movement between the U bolts?

They prevent any shear stress from being transferred into the bolts.

I was able to throw a shock in, measure for limiting straps and bolted on some bump stop landing pads....

I think 14" will be plenty...

They will more than likely be the next product we roll out with. They are 98% ready. It's just the little details like instructions and packaging that still need sorted out. Within the next month or so for sure.

I had some free time recently to get the limit straps thrown on, as well as rework the 3" exhaust around all the crap I've thrown in...

The truss just clears the exhaust under full bump. I'll definitely need to wrap the exhaust so the bumpstop doesn't get fry'd.

Hmm, I really would like to do a setup like this before I go to Moab at the end of April... I might just have to copy the idea.
Any idea on pricing? They might be worth the wait to have the awesome kit.

Talk about impressive. I like how on the first page I was just wondering "why?" Then saw the last pic on the first page then was like "wow! thats why!"

Good work man! I would like my welds to look like your "shaky hand" welds.

Sneak peak in the sun...

The shock towers are pretty much complete. Just hoping for some more free time this spring to get the rest of my parts installed...

Great idea! I've been trying to think of a less intrusive idea to lengthen the shock mounts inside the cabin. I might be having to pick these up after I swap in my 8.8 w/ the loss of shock travel I'll get.
