Cheapest I can score them is $280, and that's a cheapo pull it place.
Yeah it does look bent I cant tell if that's a optical illusion though.

You're getting robbed. I got my 29 spl 8.25 for $150. Check craigslist, FS section here, etc

I think its an illusion, but I haven't checked to be certain....

I took the ABS axles because I kept snapping the stock '88 axles lol

Whats the best way to check for straightness after welding has been done ??

Thats a rear axle, I can get ford 8.8 for that, at my local yard.
But they want more for a complete 4x4 axle.
And craigslist? pft forget about it! ppl want 350 and up for hp 30's
Believe me I've looked around over the last 3 years.

Well you can try a straightedge along the bottom of the tube, if the axle is level you can also slap a degree
tool on the outer C's and note the difference between them.

Believe me I've looked around over the last 3 years.
I must be in the best area ever for buying axles. HP 30's go for well under $100 at any full service junkyard and under $75 at a u-pull it yard. 8.25's go for about the same and 8.8's maybe a touch more $120ish.
