That's probably goin to be tomorrows plan. Along with mounting and possibly wiring the 4 lights on the front and maybe 2 on back. I just haven't managed to figure out how to mount the rack to the jeep itself. My gutter mounts seem to have come up short for some reason.

Lol. My jeeps never seen a bath. Plus because of the fact that my jeep is all herculiner on the outside the mud just sticks. Lol. Eventually I'm gonna give her a bath.

well she's mounted, painted, and lit. haha.
made new custom gutter mounts. the ones i picked up at the junkyard came up short and the rack woyld have been sitting on my roof.
got the mounts tightened and clamped into place. just waiting for my mechanic to weld them up for me.
mounts are all welded. waiting for the paint cans to warm up s it sprays evenly.
lighting up the whole dam world now. hahaha.
fresh coat of flat black. finally looks presentable.
finally got my Hi-Lift mounts i ordered.
now shes really starting to look good.
pain in the *** wiring all these lights. haha.
finished product. looks pretty dam good if i say so myself.

Looks great, almost like you stole it right off my roof .I like the hi-lift mounts. I went with 2 hella rounds and 2 kc rounds on mine. The dupli-color spray bedliner works great and dries real fast.

Haha. Thanks man. All my buddies keep asking me where i got the idea and how much it was for all the materials. It really is a great touch to the once bare roof of my XJ. I think I'm going to wait for warmer weather to hit it with the spray on bedliner.

They are cheap to build but is sucks to weld the galvanized metal. Here is mine complete with lights:
Next step is front bumper with winch and rockers.

looks good man. i'm more into the square lights cause they match the stock headlights. plus the Blazer lights from walmart are 20 bucks a pair which is perfect for if they break. haha. and if your gonna make your own winch bumper dont worry im not gonna steal that from you. i have a winch bumper already. hahaha.
