Default Rear ZJ/WJ seats in an XJ?

I have a '97 XJ. Can I put XJ/ZJ rear seats in rear? Direct bolt-on? No fab work needed? I am getting conflicting reports. Some show brackets being cut, etc. Some say direct bolt-in. No fab work needed. Can someone confirm?

They definitely take some work. No_rdplz provided a great write up for the forum. The front don't take any mods though.

Depends entirely on the year and what kind of seats (power/manual) you're switching in.

Well yes but according to his post all he has to do for standard seats he only needs to bolt his current XJ rails to the ZJ seats.

This is for the rear. Trying to achieve head rest. Might just add the head rest then. Looks easier.
