I'm not too far from you. I'd love one. I don't have access to a bender, but I could weld it if I had the pieces. That thing looks bad-***.

I guess I'm still having a hard time seeing how you plated it on the back side.

Got photos of the plates?

Looks pretty cool but I bet when you pull the pins you better be ready for some weight to drop quick, it almost looks like a 2 man job now to open the hatch!

I like the look, it just looks like if it took any kind of impact it would snap off unless it was tied to an internal roll cage.

Oh and those are called STINGERS not stringers that why everyone is poking fun at it.

Yea know I hit the wrong key and it will not let me change it and for how it is on there I have already picked it up with forklift to test it but I did not get a pic of that it is welded to the door frame and the hatch frame so if it moves the jeep is done

Watch the language kids..

Looks pretty cool.
Id like to see it bash up on rocks to test its durability.. Looks like something youd see on a prerunner.

I'm glad I found this thread. Mine should be done this weekend. A good friend of mine is doing a rear bumper, ORF quarter guards with a tire carrier very close to this. We swapped his fab skills for electrical work in his shop. But we talked last weekend about the design and he said he was going to do the tube in one piece from quarter to quarter. In fact when I saw your pics, I sent them to him.

So yeah, nice job. I like it and can't wait to see mine. I'll post some pics for comparison.
