all i did was got indoor/outdoor carpet and spray glued it to the top of the wood, then i took a staple gun and cut the edges to size and stapled them under the edge of the top

i just need to know how tall you got yours... i got all my measurments for the floor so if i copy works i would just cut where the seat is and put the compartments in it.

mine is 4.5" tall from floorboard to the bottom of the plywood its really hard to see it but it is a 2x4 and then a 2x1 glued to bottom of it. and a 2x4 is really only 3.5" tall and the 2x1 is really 2x1 so.=4.5" exactily perfect from my under the bed storage box without a lid

Damn, first I really liked your roof rack, and now this. I am so going to do this. However, I am thinking about using a 2x6 instead of the 2x4 and 2x1 to give me that extra inch.
