Default Rear bumper start to finsh

I just thought some of you would like to see my rear bumper that I just finish. Here are some pics from start to finish it is built out of 2x4 and 2x5 rectangle tube

bumper looks great! i really like the way you tied the bumper to the body. What did you use for side supports?

That part is not done yet I will eventually use some 1 3/4 tube left over from my tube fenders that I am building and tie it into the uni body and also my rear tube fenders will be tied into the sliders as well

Im planning on using mine as a tie off point as well. Did you weld the bumper to the quarters? or did you use filler?

I did both welded it then finished off with filler

Since you welded the bumper to the quarters, do you anticipate any twist or flex being transfered from one side of the body to the other? I would think that you would risk warping the panels now that they are connected together through the bumper.

I like how you stayed with the body lines you dont see that to often on rear bumpers, it looks great man
