oh i cant close it... and im not reporting it either... lol... a thread like this in a every section would be nice... and just delete the stickies... i think why people dont pay attention to stickies is because they have no say so on anything thats said in them and discussions are not able to be made...

Thanks for helping out. Sometimes we don't have time to go through everything.

I'm not doing anything to it because I think it did help out with getting some people educated.

Do the mods and all your fellow cherokee forum members a favor and READ THE STICKIES at the top of every section. They're there for a reason.

Thanks

I think the mods should be more strict when people clutter the forum by not following these rules rather than spending their time getting all bent over the little stuff the rest of us do or say.

thanks for reminding us of the rules though

the little stuff adds up and becomes the "clutter" you speak of... dont worry... we know what were doing...

I know that when I first joined a board, I had no idea WTH I was doing. The last thing I would want is a Mod coming down on me because I wanted to post something, and join in the conversation...

I just give them a friendly hey this isn't the right place for this thread and report it. later on they tell me sorry and that they are new and usually thats last i see of wrong thread starts. sometimes it'll happen again if they more ignorant than average person. Honestly they usually just didn't know, but its because they didn't read the rules yet again.

I haven't had anything productive to add to the thread until now. Killing a thread that I started seems to be really easy though.

Most newbs have NO idea what they are doing or where to post, you report it, say hey "this shouldn't be posted here, blah, blah blah." and 95% of the time they're like "Oh sorry, I didn't know I'll make sure to read the rules and post in the right place next time" I don't mind that and its completely understandable.

However, the people that do get under my skin are the people who should know better and have been around long enough to know the rules. That and occasionally there's some dumb-*** who has to chime in and say "there are pictures of things that were fabbed, therefor this thread DOES belong in the fab section" Then you try to explain it to them and they just don't get it......
