Default Rate my sliders!

First of all, sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, and secondly, these were designed and welded by two amateur welder high schoolers.

This is before they were painted/bedlined.

After painting/bedlining/installing.

What do you guys all think?

We didn't copy them though, I didn't even know those existed until they were done and I wanted to see how much sliders were to buy. (These cost about $70 in material)

Yea its pretty nice. Bedliner took forever to dry but i think that it was worth the durability/non-glossy look.

haha thanks! it was our first major welding project, other than just practicing on scrap metal. I have to admit though, my buddy's dad is a certified welder so he made sure we knew what we were doing before he let us start the project.

They look awesome! Thanks for posting the photos. I am just about to finish a set of plain ones and was thinking of either adding a full rail like you did and attach them to the main rail on a 45 or, to add 2 short side rails about 12 inches long and weld them to the side of the main rail on 45's right where you would need to step on them to climb in. I can't decide which look I like best, guess I like them both. Nice job!
