I kinda agree qith 4.3. If you want to clock the doubler flat you are going to hack the floor no matter what you do if you run a flipped 300 or if you run a 231 you will end up cutting a lot of trans tunnel out so you can flip the crawl box, cause it is in the way.

If I was going to do the reg drop 300 like I do on my truggy, you can run cabble shifters on the drivers side. As it stands right now, I plan on using my stock 231 shifter for the rear case, and a pinion or axlse shatf as my crawl box shifter.

I was hoping this week, but due to a coworker having a death in the family I have to work 12 hr shifts the rest of this week. Then I have a guy driving down from Maryland oN sat.. so I can build him a custom rear bumper for his MJ... Realisticaly I plan on haivng the cases in the rig mon/tues. Then I will carry spare shafts to the machine shop to have lengths adjusted. After that I need to get 3 sticks of 13/4 dom so I can rework inside cage, as wel as some special front end cage work. Realisticly.. I should be wheeling by 4th of july

I am also changing my seats out for a set Of PRP's. I am going to try and build a cool lil center console that will double as a cover for the hole in the floor

Wel I got some work done today.

Then I took some spare shafts to the machine shop.. I should have some correct length shafts by the end of the week.

Then I stripped out my 4.3 xj.. so I had some good sheetmetal. So on it went. I do plan on trimming it up..

Got some more work done today. I painted the shafts tan. The front shaft is the long one.. the rear is just a cut down front shaft.

I also got the yj d30 that is donating its 4.88's to my build stripped. Nothing really specail to report, but I did get some good brakes and wheel bearings and othe misc spare parts off of it

Well it is in there But it fought me the whole way. Found out when you run this setup you need to open up the bottom 3 holes, or open them all up to 5/8. Have to give a huge thanks to Woody (samuri guy out my way) for giving me a hand.

Also found out that I wil not have to do as much work to get my seats to work.. heck might even be able to sleeve what I cut out and put that back in there

Appreciate the offer of the Help... I think I have it under control now though.. The doubler is defiantely a heavy Biatch. I should get more work done tommorow.. I just finished working a 16 hr shift, and havent slept in 34 hrs.. so working with tools would be a bad idea

Got driveshafts in yesterday.. only to realise that I am going to have to use my "spare" d44 so I can set the pinion angle right.. needless to say it isnt right now that I have a shorter driveshaft.

Today I will be working on the floor of the rig.. hopefully cut and do a lil welding to make it work.

Well I was going to work on installing the floors, but got frustrated trying to make the stock cut up floor I have to work. Since I didnt feel like riding an hr roundtrip.. I went to work on some trimming that neeed to happen

I used the stock fender flairs as a guide for the plasma.. so both sides match
