If you do a google search of your material you can find how many lbs/foot it weighs, then it's just a simple math problem based off your blueprint

Yes. The weight is spread out between the 4 mounts.

This. When your talking 60+ft of tubing it starts to add up.

That is a poorly placed weld. And each of the mounts held up WELL over 250 lbs.

Emt would be good for looks..... if your looking at it far enough away. Anyways this thing has held 500 pounds so far. And yes I'm going to sand blast and paint it. Comments or insults are welcome.

I'm an electrician as well but honestly I'm amazed with some of these racks these guys are making out of 3/4 emt. I do not however like the thought of the pre bent 90's and couplings. If bent and welded with inserts at every structural weld point I think they're solid. Just my .02

Saved money and took about 5 min per mount after i had the jig set up

You guys can seem my ****ty emt rack on my profile it only holds my 31 spare up there.. Oh yeah and I used the pre bends but I drilled the couplings out and put in a couple 5/16 bolts... I think that's what they were... I'm a metric kid lol don't mind me!
