My first crack at sliders
So I got a bunch of 3/16 wall C-channel for free from a friend of mine and today decided to fab up a set of rock sliders with it. With the channel I was able to tuck it up tight and at a slight angle covering the lower rocker pinch weld. I didn't take too many pictures today, but will tomorrow when I build the passenger side.
I think the channel should hold up well and I'm going to go back and throw in some 3/16 gussets to stengthen it up further. Its pretty damn beefy in the corners though. I may also add some type of drain holes so I can at least spray mud out too.
Anyway here's the couple of pictures I took.

Nice! I like em.
One thing I would suggest, since you used c-channel, I would drill some drain holes in the lower side of the sliders and on the legs. Otherwise, you just made place for mud/water to get trapped and rust.
Other thatn that, they look great!
