Default my first bumper build

i bought my heep with dented to crap stock bumpers so that gave me an excuse to build my own heres all i got so far.

there made out of 1/4 x 6 and the bumper will be made out of 2x6 3/16. this is my second jeep and my first bumper build so i stole most the ideas from other builds on here. and does anyone know what size and thread the bolts for the steering box are?

Keep us posted.

If you don't mind, could you please show us step by step? I'm also planning to build a front and rear bumper but currently researching it. I was planning to make it out of 2x6x3/16 rectangular steel.

What are you going to use. Steel plate or rectangular?

Thanks...

2x6 3/16 box for the front and 2x6 1/4 box for the rear. i thoght id try and save a little weight in the front hence the 3/16 i might even drill out some holes in the rear if i feel like its too heavy. and i went with 1/4 for the rear because im gona tie a hitch reciever into it.
