So I've had my XJ almost a year, an ice been bitten by the fab bug pretty bad. Although I'm not I've not really fabricated things of this kind before, I'm giving it a shot. So if you have any tips or ideas, let's hear them!

 

This was the first version but it didn't have enough support, so I ended up shortening it

I wanted to build my own bumper, so I took some plate steel an 2 inch pipe an built on. It's not intended as a recovery point nor will any shackles be put on it. I mainly wanted to change it up, it's my daily driver and is not a trail rig. So I didn't want to go to crazy.
