Default Front bumper and few other projects

Been wanting to build a front bumper for awhile and finaly got the wild hair up my but to do it. It is taking a little while because of my busy life. But slowly is coming together. Main piece is 2x4x1/4 thick. Im working on both side pieces as well. And then am still trying to figure out what to do with the bottom. May try to come up with something like Rigidco bumper hows its rounded but not sure. Had to cute all the pieces with a oxy acetylene torch. Dident turn out to bad. Heres a few pics. Frame brackets are made out of 1/4 to.

Thats all for the bumper so far. But I also just finished building upper control arms. Using Ballistics new 2" joint. Turned out great. Pretty beefy to. Also lowers are built using Ballistic 3" joints. There pretty beefy.

Then finished my control arm skids to.

I think your bumper would look more functional if you'll add some length to fully cover the front of your jeep... But its a good start for these projects you're setting up...

Because I have drop brackets in my garage wating to go on as well and I feel that with drop brackers a jeep can flex just as much as a jeep with long arms. Maybe when I go 35's and start doing really hard trails ill do long arms but everyone I know that has drops has never had a problem with them so thats why I dident do long arms

well its kind of like why do something twice when you can do it right or better the first time. though having them in the garage already would have presueaded me to do them too instead. but long arms are the beez neez. sorry gieco comercial came on lol.
