I recently started to build a roof rack for my jeep, i just though it would go great with it. Im using angle iron, square tube, and round tube, none of it is being bought, my dad has it just laying around behind a building with another metal. It is being mounted to the stock roof rack thing with just bolts.

I will be post the pics of it 2morrow and as i keep building it.

 

Is your rack being welded or bolted/fastened together?

Okay here it is, it is just the bottom, need to put some post and add the top rail but dont know what to use for it, then maybe add some brackets on the side and back for some lights then add something to hold my spare tire down.

 

Sorry about the bad pic quality, hopefully 2morrow night i can get the post welded on and maybe some brackets made for some lights.

 

Well i finally got my post welded on for a top rail but i have to go and buy some metal to go around.
