I appreciate all the great comments everyone. I wish it had gone faster but between the winter weather and work, well what can I say.
I have decided to go ahead and make some front tie in brackets to help add some extra strength to the Jeep frame. Hope to get started painting it this weekend.

Thanks. Yeah, it is pretty easy as far as materials are concerned. The front main part is just 3x5 angle, .25 thick.
Cut the angles you want, add some end pieces and caps, bottom skirt and there you have it.
I think I am going to make another one and try and sell it on craigslist to make some extra money.
