Had a chance to work on the bumper the other day. Got the skirt on and ends capped. I am thinking about going ahead and painting it and mounting it to the jeep and make the light bar an "after market" bolt on deal to install later. Tired of riding around without a bumper.

i know how that is. i lived in NC for a while and there were times the air would be green and even washing the cars was pointless because it would just be green again by the time were done drying it. i hated that crap. were you at least able to get some primer on there to keep it from rusting?

No primer yet. I keep it in the garage so it won't rust that quick. I will give it a good sanding before I prime and paint it.

It seems like it took long enough but here is the final product. I decided to not put the smaller side tubes coming off the main bull bar. It seemed like it would block the headlights and turn signals so I scrapped it.
I am having trouble deciding on paint. I saw this Black Hammered paint by Rustoleum that I think would look good. Thought about the bedliner paint as well because I already did my lower side panels with it and it seems to be holding up well. Or just flat black. Opinions welcome.
