Default Teaser shot

I did not get as far as I wanted this weekend but better than nothing. The bumper is just set on the brackets for picture. I did go ahead and notch the top of the bumper and score the front and got it bent to match the contour of the front grill/trim. It was too dark at that point to get a picture.

Anyway, here is a couple teaser shots.

I'd trim the bumper to match the width of the body, but looks great!

I made it longer so when I put the 2" sides/returns on it, it will flush out with the fender flares. I hope to start getting all the "trim" pieces put on next weekend. It will look good then.

Not sure if you mentioned this or not yet, but do you plan on notching the top to bring the corners in closer to the header panel?

Yep. Did that today and got the ends cut and ready to weld on. Hope to have some pics tomorrow.

Actually you would be quite surprised how light it is. It is basically one piece with some 2 inch angle for the sides.

I was wanting 3/16" thick originally but all they had was 1/4" in that size. Kind of glad it worked out that way now. It was not hard to cut and welds really well. It is one stout bumper!
