I'd try to wrap around it and follow the bumper myself. Put bend in the top tube so it runs towards the rear, then a bend straight down to the top of the bumper. Bring the middle tube around and run it straight into the upper tunes down comer.
Male sense to anybody? lol

That's pretty much what I'm thinking I'll aim for. I'm a novice at metal work, especially tube bending, so it will be trial and error. Nice thing about metal is if you don't like it you can cut it off and try again.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I made more progress today but didn't grab any pics, sorry. It gets dark all day here it seems. haha! I'll say I am happy with how its turning out so far even if its not perfect. I will have to pull the bumper even though I had hoped not to but I know it will make it much easier. Finish welding and then prep for paint...Can't wait!

Looks good!!
Where that ARB bumper looks goofy, remove that angled pipe where it attaches to the top of the bumper, cut a new pipe in half where it attaches to the front/outside of the bumper and run it straight up to the pipe grill guard, all the way down to the bottom of the bumper. Would get rid of that weird angled pipe on the corner and would round out the outside corner of the bumper.

Thought I'd throw this up so you guys will know I haven't been slacking. I got lucky enough today (and hopefully tomorrow) to get to work in the shop even though its closed for the holidays.
Today I got all the nasty rust from the snow/salted roads cleaned off using Navel jelly and a heated pressure washer. Worked out better than I had hoped.
Then I applied two coats of primer... with a BRUSH! Ack! I couldn't find any quality primer here in Germany that wasn't in a can so I just made do. It actually didn't come out to bad and I'm fairly sure the paint will cover any flaws. It IS a jeep bumper after all! Haha! Hoping that I can shoot the paint tomorrow and let it cure until Sunday when I will go for the winch install and bumper re-install! Wish me luck guys... and
Merry Christmas!

JCR designed and manufactures the bumper part as a DIY kit. Where the factory uses basically sheetmetal brackets and bolts going through more thin sheet metal and held in place with captive nutserts... the JCR bumper is MUCH beefier! They have tie in plates that run down the outside of both "frame rails" and use the three seen holes as well as the two for the sway bar and a couple more...per side! Plus there are two angle brackets in the front that add to the tie in. Realistically, yes.... there are really only three bolts that hold the bumper on per side. BUT. They are now tied into metal that will actually hold them and not rip out like a soda can. I have a horrible tendency to over build stuff. Its like a sickness for me that usually leaves me with something 5x to heavy and a bit fugly. I can honestly say that the JCR bumper has not made me want to rethink any part of it due to their quality design effort and execution of it. I honestly don't see where you could make it any stronger or add more places to bolt it in??? I'm happy.

Thanks again... I really like the fact that I was able to buy the bumper and then make it more as I wanted it. All in all it honestly wasn't that difficult a process and even my meager skills were able to pull it off.
Its not perfect... if you look closely when I get it final mounted, you can probably see where the passenger side "wing" is at a bit more angle than the drivers side by a fuzz. That's from trying to hold it and eyeball it and weld it all at the same time. :O But I never noticed it until today after I was cleaning it up. Oh well... not bad for a first time and sure is a lot better than my last attempt at a bumper. I just hope JCR doesn't think I'm trying to steal their thunder. I try and make sure folks know its not all me.
Heck, maybe they will like it and offer a similar idea as an add on to their other cool stuff.

Yup... IIRC the side plates are somewhere between 3/16s and 1/4". Beefy. And there is an honest to god real spacer for the steering box instead of the stupid aluminum rectumtangle thing. Only way I can see to add more is to step up to grade 8 or better hardware which I may do... shrugs.
