Wanted one for my MJ and a buddies MJ. Pretty simple to build.
Locate angle iron bracket along the frame with 3 holes. Two holes are existing and one needs to be drilled. One existing hole needs to be re-drilled for a 3/8" bolt*. Front bolt is a 7/16". Once the 7/16" bolt and rear 3/8" bolt* are snug, you can drill the next hole and hopefully hit the hole in bracket.

Clamp strap around steering box.
Measure tubing in between, cut to fit and weld away.

Very clean!
If I may suggest, you should also reinforce the frame side of the steering box. The brace will create more stress on the frame side and should be plated to prevent any cracking. But everyone wheels different so if it works then I am all for it.

Exactly.
The Uni-Body loves to flex especially up front. Now when the body is flexing its pushing and pulling on the box due to the brace. This can actually create a problem where one did not exist before. Rock/Jeep Speed guys box the frame on the steering side with something like what C-Rok has to offer, http://www.c-rok.com/sb.html, (some) run a trac bar brace and a steering box brace. That is over kill for most but when it comes to Jeep Speed they don't want stuff breaking during the race. Hope this helps.

Brace was installed on a XJ that did not have a sway bar brackets attached. I don't see it as a problem. Anyone else have a similar installation WITH the sway bar brackets? Does your steering bracket have another configuration?
If so, please post up.
Thanks!

That mod is great.. also look into a C rock steering brace. After you do all that.. next steering mod is a Trans cooler for the Power steering fluid. That is especially important if you have a front locker.
