Making control arms adjustable???

I'm trying to make adjustable control arms out of my non adj. RE arms. Rubicon's website says the insert I need is for 1"I.D., the only thread for the insert is 3/4-16. Will this be strong enough??????

strong enough for driving and minor wheeling. i'd think if you are gonna do much crawlin you may have some issues. i see a big rock takin that end out.
