yea, I used 16 gauge instead of the factory 18 gauge for extra strength! As for sound, not sure how loud it will be and I wasn't planning on doing any sound deadener but if it's too loud, I guess I'll have to figure something out. But I'm not to worried about it, my friends mud grapplers weren't too loud for me so I don't think this will be. lol
.32mm thicker. And sound deadener is a bit of a luxury for a trail rig..
Got the seam sealer applied and started to lay some paint down. I put a first coat of galvanized paint and then a layer of rustolium spray on Berliner. I chose the spray on because I can easily touch up any chips or scratches on the paint over time. I'll get some better pics when I get back to the house. Also, I think i know what was causing my rust problem. Both drivers/passengers side and trunk all have puddles after a rain storm. So I got to find he leak and patch it next!
Peel and seal aluminum flashing from Lowe's works just as good as Dynomat, and it is 10 times cheaper. That is what I used on all my fabricated panels.
I loved and hated all the rust repair. It was "fun" for a while, and then it ran it's course. I see that you had the dash out. It was a struggle trying to fabricate a dash and the center console. I am not sure I would do this again, as I missed 6 months of off road shenanigans. I guess it was worth it.

that dash and those door panels are awesome. You got a write up that? You should make one.
Did u have to put new seat mounting bolts in to cause I couldn't tell and how did u do that
no, luckly the studs for the seat bolts were in the frame and not the floor boards. The old floor just had a circle in the floor cut out around each stud, so when I removed the floor, it just lifted up around the stud. You can see the studs sticking up in my pics where I had no floors in.
Figured I'd update this thread, the bare floor, after a few months, ended up being a little too loud for me. Lol. I put 97 up doors on to fix the leaky vent Windows and installed some carpet, much quieter now! Meanwhile, bed liner has held up great but has peeled/chipped in a few spots, probably because the metal I used is galvanized.
