Got all the floors today. For $50, I'd say it's a pretty good deal. Lol. Only problem is that it's galvanized. So im gonna grind the galvanized coating off the spots I'll be welding and I'll also be using a 3M 7500 series respirator for extra safety.

Alright guys, haven't got too much done since last time, but I went ahead and rolled some holes for the spot welds and made some lines where I got to cut the metal. Once I got all the metal fitted into place, I'll drill the holes for the spot welds onto the frame. Also, I may be awhile till I start welding, I got to send my welding gun off to Snap-On to be rebuilt.

I've heard about it, but wasn't planning on using it, how much is it? I'd probably us it on the metal where the old floor board is. The new metal is galvanized so I'm gonna use special paint for that.

Got the welder fixed! Welded both the driver and passenger floors today. Forgot to get a picture of the passenger side but I'll get one tomorrow

yea, I used 16 gauge instead of the factory 18 gauge for extra strength! As for sound, not sure how loud it will be and I wasn't planning on doing any sound deadener but if it's too loud, I guess I'll have to figure something out. But I'm not to worried about it, my friends mud grapplers weren't too loud for me so I don't think this will be. lol
