Ill be using an army surplus 50 cal ammo box and modify it to sit over the stock hand brake. Or I might just remove the brake instead. they have a lock kit for it so i can put crap in there and not have to worry about people messin with it when my doors are off. What do you think? Of course id have to make some sort of cup holder for it too. As soon as i get it from ups ill post pics of the center console.

Ive got it done....well most of it i havent made the cup holders yet but that will come at a later time. Here are some pictures of the center console as it sits. I will do a write up if any one is interested. The locking kit was back ordered so that will come later as well.

Nice Idea. I thought you were mating a full console and a ammo can. That would have been a sweet mod.
