How to re-enforce stock upper trailing arms
I recently twisted one of my upper arms by over flexing the axle. i figured i would just bend it back and weld it. after i did that it still just seemed too flimsy. So instead of waisting $200 some odd dollars on after-market arms. i went to my local hardware store and bought a $4 3 foot long piece of 1/4 inch by 1inch steel. and welded it between the gap in the arm. bolted the arms back in and BAM! better then stock and cheaper then after-market.
Here is how it looks unpainted installed
