Default how do I cut the fenders

I have a 3in RC now and 31s and I came across 5 33s for 120. I was told to cut the fenders to fit the 33 I just wanna know how to do it the right way. I was told I couldn't cut the rear to much cause of the pinch weld. Any advice or. Pics that someone else has done that can help me. Or should I just sell the 33s.

Another if you have a newer model. (don't think it makes a difference.)

get a cut off wheel and start cutting. front to the body line rear gotta got and fold. then you'll need extended bump stops to limit your uptravel to keep form getting the tires stuffed into the fenders

So does this mean I can do the 33 with a three inch lift. Eventually I will do a bigger lift but down the road. Is anybody runnin a 3in lift with 33s. I want to know it can and has been done. They are BFG mud terrains on 15 x 8 with 4.5 back spacing. Thanks

You might rub control arms at full lock. How wide are the tires?

I am running 33s with the 3 inch RC lift. I followed a post called, "cut my front fenders and flares". And also" cut my rear fenders and flares" by Jbstein95. You get to keep your flares which I like. Don't have time to find the link but search and you will find it. Oh by the way I have 15x8 with 4 inch backspacing and it works great. As stated you do need to modify front and rear bumpstops.

i just cut mine, those are 33x10.50 KM2's, i have 3" of lift, i tried pretty hard last night couldnt make the front rub. i havent done the rears yet but i dont think ill need much.

i just cut exactly where the trim edges were, it is intimidating to do on your own at first but once you do you'll get it
