The reason I asked is, I love the idea, but i was thinking of taking it one step farther and making a design in my hood.

I have about a 1 1/2" gap under my drip pan and it still vents very well at stoplights and if you put your hand above it when you get out

since were showing off heres my camaro hood vents i picked up online for $50 with drip vents.

mounting sucker..they were obviously only meant to be mounted and stay on that car haha so i had to make some mounts.

Glad to see someone else like the Lumina Z24 vents. Only seen maybe 4 set installed here and on NAXJA.

Some great ideas in this thread. I was fortunate enough to get a 5.9 hood for my ZJ. No cutting for me!

Curious if there is a way to have the heat vent towards the existing cowl section between the hood and windshield???

What do you guys think of this idea? How bout a WRX scoop on a Cherokee. It has a baffle that would re direct rain and snow.

That would be ideal. I think the holes would be high enough for the heat to escape horizontally. Even at a sit still the difference between under hood temp & outside temp should draw the high temp heat out. Even on a hot day.
