jakedalton - I am just going to put in a cubby for now and in it. That way I have a place for the ipod and I can hide the wires in the dash.

This is a pretty sweet build, good job. How did you mount it to the roof? I would love to build a singe tier one just for a cb radio.

96jeepxj - I have to take down so that I can cover it. When I do I will take pics of how I did it.

I had the factory console up there when I got it, so i used the factory holes to screw into and took off the original clips.

I actually like how this one is held up there better.

So, I am going to hook up my front like that with a metal bar that runs between the sun visors.

Ok, so I am finished for now. I covered it all with fleece, got a "new" headliner, and even got the speaker pods (score!). I put up my tool box and here it will sit in this configuration untill I have the time and money to buy some resin and fiberglass.

Here are a few more pics.

BTW - I did redesign how the front is held up. There are now metal L brackets under the sunvisor retairers.

Oh my God that thing is absolutely awesome. I love it. Would you consider making more and selling them? I would love to try a build like this, but sadly I believe my skills are... lacking...

Actually, I am gonna try this. Whats the worse that could happen? It suck and I just throw it away? Better to try than to stay seated like a loser. Could you possible make a trace of the sides or something just so I can figure which way to start building? I am terrible with templates and matching up contours.
