I just got through with a good mod...Two cupholders right at easy grabbin distance...got the idea from the cupholder in the quadratech magazine but mines a lil more "custom lookin" if you will...lol oh yeah Ive still got to clean up the plate and paint it but I had to see how it looked.

Cut out my destroyed rocker panels and welded these badboys in. 2x6x3/8 overkill sliders. We are also making them into air tanks approx. 10 gal of air. It will also be tied into stiffened unibody rails and then we are going to boat side it. They will also serve as the foundation for my exo.

I'm not sure of the wire guage and setting because my buddy Giff did all the welding. The metal cost about $130 at the scrap yard .50c/lb i have about 40 inches extra too. They were 2x6x3/8

ya he did a great job with the weld. just curious cause i can imagine itld be tough to get the setting right because of the thin metal on the body
