I have one very similar to that. What yours come off of?

 

Has anyone ever used spray can bed liner on all door handles?

 

Door handle??? Why?

 

i took it off of a 96 chevy k1500 in the bone yard ..

 

it was so sipmle a monkey could do it, and the benefit is most useful at night and who on here actually maintains there flash light anyways. you don't think about those batteries until you useing that light and it goes dead...

 

It's gonna suck when you go to push the button to open the door.

 

Well I think the liner out of the spray can isn't very thick and I wouldn't spray the button itself.

 

it also falls off after about 1 year...

 

I used cheap spray rubber paint from the store on my fenders. Only lasted a few months. I geuss it wasn't made to be exposed to the elements. A top coat of paint might have made it last longer.

 

I'll give it a go in a bit and let you know how it goes and looks. I'm going to use a textured paint a fabricator recommended to me instead. I get paid Monday and I'll buy the paint then. I'll do my wheels too.

 

I've had the rustoleum spray on bedliner on my rear bumper and bottom of my doors for about 2 years now. The color faded a little bit but it is still holding strong. Last summer I chipped some off the bumper moving furniture though. I had a couch with a metal frame hanging out the back sitting on the bumper for a 30 minute drive on Pennsylvania pot hole ridden roads. It hasn't chipped or flaked away any more than what I did that day.


I wouldn't do door handles though

This stuff worked great, I'm using it in black on my wheels and handles.

lmao thats how mine is. Swype seems to make it a little easier for me.
