Homebrew Jeep Mods

This is the neutral (white) side with a ground (green)

...and this is the hot (black) side. I've highlighted the detachable bus bar tab that will allow each plug to be wired individually when it's removed. With it in place, it links the two plugs so that they both work with a single supply.
Make sure your inverter is OFF and the supply cord unplugged while you're doing your wiring. It's easy to become complacent after working with relatively safe 12v systems for so long and forget the potential for shock when working with 120v. Trust me, it smarts like a ****.

I play bass. A bass amp would work, but... not really the best application at all. Besides, if something is worth doing, I think it's worth doing right. That being said, it wouldn't be as bad as some of the stuff we've seen on this thread!

Just an FYI on inverters and everyone wanting to make a bad *** sub box like F1's (FRICKEN SWEET!!!). Cheap inverters put out square wave AC and some devices can't handle them and crap out. This is how AC should look like: /\/\/\ Square wave is squared off instead of coming to a point. Idk anything further than this, my shop teacher told me this much when building his fish house.
You can buy true wave inverters though, they're just more expensive.
